We started Forward Design Consulting because too many small businesses are stuck with websites that don't work.
Walk down any main street and you'll find practitioners doing excellent work — dentists, therapists, independent shops, small studios — represented online by sites built a decade ago in tools nobody wants to learn. Slow. Hard to update. Built for desktop in 2014.
We make the alternative. Sites that load instantly, look like they were made on purpose, and are honest about what they cost. No retainers you don't need. No quote padded with “discovery.” Just two clear tiers, real timelines, and work we'd be happy to put our name on.
§ What we believe
- i. Small is a feature. Three people means you talk to the people doing the work — every time. No account managers, no handoffs, no telephone game.
- ii. Pricing should be boring. Flat fees, listed publicly. No “let's get on a call so we can quote you.” You should know the number before you reach out.
- iii. Restraint over flash. Most websites are too busy. Good design is mostly about what you take out, then what you leave in working hard.
- iv. Built to last. Standards-based code, clean handoffs, no proprietary lock-in. Your site is yours to keep, edit, or move.
