The brief
An old site that buried the booking flow.
Oasis Family Dental had been running the same site since 2014 — Flash-era hero, four-column 90s footer, a contact form three clicks deep. They were getting walk-ins because of word of mouth, but almost no inbound bookings from the site itself.
What they actually needed was one page, fast on a phone, with a single clear path to "book a visit" — and a tone that matched how it feels to actually be in their practice (calm, family-run, no upsells).
The approach
A single page, three real decisions.
- Strip the structure to one page so every booking is a single tap from any device.
- Replace the stock photography with three portrait shots of the real team — the practice's strongest differentiator.
- Move the booking widget into the hero so it never falls below the fold, then have it post directly into their existing scheduler so they did not have to change any internal workflow.
In real numbers.
Tracked against the same window from the year before. No paid promotion was added on either side.
- Booking inquiries 3.2×vs. the same 30-day window in 2025.
- Mobile bounce rate ↓ 41%From 62% down to 36% on phones.
- Avg. session length 1:42 min2.4× the previous site's average.
- PageSpeed score 98/100Mobile, real-world LCP under 1.2s.
The site finally sounds like our practice. New patients show up already knowing what to expect, which has changed the first-visit conversation entirely.Dr. Mei Smith · Owner, Oasis Family Dental

Why this project mattered
Word-of-mouth had carried Oasis for three decades, but the site was actively losing them new patients — every click that didn’t surface “book a visit” was a leak. The goal of the rebuild was narrow on purpose: one fast, calm page where booking was always one tap away.
