The basics that apply whether you're browsing this site or working with us on a project.
Agreement to terms
By using this website, you agree to these terms with Forward Design Consulting LLC ("we," "us"). If you don't agree, please don't use the site. These terms cover the website itself; a separate written proposal governs the terms of any project we take on together.
Scope of engagement
Every project starts with a proposal specific to that engagement — pages, timeline, price, and what's included. That proposal, once accepted, is what defines the work. These general terms don't replace it; they sit alongside it.
No guaranteed outcomes
We build websites we're proud of, but we can't guarantee specific business results — traffic, leads, rankings, or revenue. Too much of that depends on factors outside a website's design: your market, your follow-through, and plain luck.
Intellectual property
Ownership of the final website design and files transfers to the client once the project is paid in full. Until then, the work remains ours.
Website use
Content on this site — text, images, and design — belongs to Forward Design Consulting LLC unless noted otherwise, and is here to inform you about our work. You're welcome to link to it; please don't copy it wholesale for your own site.
Limitation of liability
This website and its content are provided as-is. To the extent allowed by law, Forward Design Consulting isn't liable for damages arising from your use of this site. For work we've been engaged to do, liability is limited as set out in the relevant project proposal.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the studio grows. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the update.
